By all means grab this one for free, but if you feel like it's something you'd pay for, know that it's incredibly gratefully appreciated.

For a while now, I've just been wanting to cut to the chase and make a straight up instrumental mix. A bunch of favourites, not so well knowns, indies, and boom bap take-yer-face-offs from various points in history.
When I started, it all became clear. I knew I wanted to make it a long one too - one you can just throw on with confidence that it will knock, and provide that pure nourishing satisfaction that I know I always get from listening to this stuff...

And so here it is.

It's somewhat without frills - I'll say that. I could have gone nutty with the scratch sections, or re-edited it all to fuck, but that would become excruciating and I know that I would have taken so long over that stuff. And to what end, you know? So I left it mostly as is, re-editing a few elements here and there but mostly those are for the sake of the mix and will go unnoticed.

I'll likely get another one done soon - I'm getting Gusto Part 3 underway right now which will come along as soon as I can get it cracking. To quote Kenny Dennis, "If it takes all night, then it takes all night". But it will come.
In the meantime, please enjoy three hours of pure boom bap goodness and fun, with that old wall to wall rugged and rough.
