I had some over in Laos, from when I was out there for a couple of years and I now have them in my possession!
I think I had them earmarked for the 'Zudrangma' shop in Bangkok, if I was going to hit there on the way back but it didn't happen that way - and so here they are!
To be honest I didn't even realise I'd made that many... It's kinda crazy. But yeah - these are the final ones, I don't have any more kicking around and I won't be making any for the time being so do be quick if you want one.

Welcome to 'Golden Bangkok Guest', my 70+ minute serenade to Bangkok and Laos!

Equal parts beat-tape and full on production, this is a comprehensive weaving of recordings and samples collected over around 2 years of back and forths between Bangkok and Laos, and many diversions therein. Train rides, street processions, vinyl, cassettes, chants, monks, locals, radio transmissions, boat cruises, wildlife, insects and stray dogs, temples and drums with surfaces measuring at least 6 feet...

I took time to filter these sounds through my head and then through my hands, and 'Golden Bangkok Guest' is what I made. This is a humid and hissing trek through the jungle, a close and warm chug down the river, a slow tracking shot through the village, a piercing and chaotic wrestle through the city and a calm but invigorating road trip up and down the mountain. From Bangkok to Udon to Vientiane to Luang Prabang and all manner of side-spots and diversions, I truly hope you enjoy this journey with me.

All there remains for me to do now is to sweep up, soothe my sunburn and feed my fearful papaya salad addiction.
