Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so very much for listening to this project unfold throughout the year!

It's been an immensely rewarding experience, as well as truly ass-kicking. It was a project that I really just had to go through to see how I felt at the other end, as I could imagine that feeling but knew that it would be entirely different having actually DONE the thing. I have learned a lot, taught myself a lot about discipline and planning, pushed through a ton of creative blocks and really felt a huge joy in creating so relentlessly. I've always been productive and kept very busy behind the boards but never done an 'every day' project as long as this one. I did one before called 'You Don't Have To Do This...' (self explanatory!) back in 2011 or so, which was for 100 days, but to make 6 hours and 25 minutes of music incrementally was something else entirely. It became me. It consumed me at times... In fact, in June, while I still made a beat for each day, I didn't release them every day because I was moving from Laos to the UK, and it was a month where I truly needed to be present in my own way over here. But I came back fighting in July and tore through the rest of the year! So whatever happens - there is definitely a beat for every day.

I'll leave it there for now - but I just want to thank you once more for checking for this stuff, and for the support and encouragement throughout. I proved to myself I could do it, and I think I showed that I could do it in public too! It's been pretty refreshing actually not checking in with Instagram every day since 2019 started - that's the other thing I had to do, sign in every day. The break from that has been lovely!

Anyway - here's to the next project, and I hope you're there for it and enjoy whatever form it takes.
