When I was approaching the finishing stages of the 'Present' project, or more specifically, the stages of how to present it physically, I decided that it would be cool to have a proper physical memento in there. It could have been a t-shirt, for sure, but I didn't want to do that with this. I love shirts as much as the next person who loves shirts but I didn't want to take that route for this one.

Well, as luck had it, my friend here in Margate who runs Palm Bay Skates (www.instagram.com/palmbayskates) had been showing me the embroidery machine they have there. It's PROPER. Like a massive microscope or something but infinitely noisier. You program in the designs and then let it run free. It's bananas, and he'd shown me some examples of the quality and it is beautiful. You can get patches and embroidered products that appear stitched but don't feel that nice or fray easy, but the ones he makes there are always real nice and tight and finished lovely.

In the end I decided on getting a patch done up, and these were presented stitched onto a tote in which the cassettes were housed. I made sure I got a few extra done up though in case anyone wanted just the patch, and so here they are! Individually made here in Margate, on location in Palm Bay Skates, the extremely hyper limited Buddy Peace patch!

Stitch em on whatever you feel, or display em proud on any given mantlepiece, shelf or surface of your choice.
