My original writeup:
Allow me to introduce the second in my Cassingle remix series... This time around I've taken it upon myself to remix the insane genius of Karlheinz Stockhausen, whose work I have enjoyed and taken apart for a lot of years now... I remember hearing 'Kontakte' on loudspeakers in an octagonal studio (weird environment but actually awesome for surround diffusion) and it just floored me. Hearing it so loud is a sensory sledgehammer and works perfectly. It's a physical piece that makes your head do all kinds of twists and turns to keep up with it...
I used elements of it in my electronic edit-mix 'Go To Hell, Bastards!' where I went through tons of older electronic music, and here I have kind of steadied the pace with a hefty 808 and a ton of heat and dust to give it a slow nod pace and some nice bumps inside... Nothing too intricate but certainly rugged and bumping. I certainly hope so anyway.
