This one here is my tracked out version of the live set I made for a recent Sage Francis show. I did support for two nights (I call it a microtour) - one at Village Underground in London and one at Band On The Wall in Manchester - and this is the finished version of that set.

It was pretty straight forward in terms of setup, basically an Ableton set triggered by a Launchpad, with a Novation mixer and a very very mini turntable for cuts (it's one of these mad DVD-size things, it's just the coolest thing ever).

You WILL hear that old chestnut, the "No! You can't get a beat from Buddy Peace!" sample crop up in there - I know I've used that before (it came from the B Dolan 'Honey From The Bee' track, among a bunch I produced on his House Of Bees series), which I used on here cos it was a Sage show. I might also use it in the future. But it's just such a dope vocal sample! I can't resist.

There are loads of new edits, exclusive remixes and flips of things on there - one or two references to things you may have heard from me in the past but as I say, references. And really just to add to the whole mix context of it. I wanted it to be a live mixtape vibe with something going on at all times.
